If the box is wrong

Sending a box back

Boxes go back to whoever sold them. We never take the money, so we are not the ones who can give it back.

The short version

Go to the order in your account with the retail partner and start the return there. Their policy governs it, their window applies, and they settle the money side. A box posted to our desk instead would sit in a pile and help nobody.

Before you start one

Two things are worth checking, because both look like faults and neither is:

  • A case with nothing in it. Six of the items on our shelf are shells for carrying a game, sold on their own. No pigs, no cup, no pad. We say so on every one of those pages, and it is still the commonest surprise.
  • Two pigs that look different. They are not a mismatched pair. Each pig has a dot inked on one flank, and that dot is what makes half the scoring work.

Something missing from a sealed box

A set that turns up short of a pig, a pencil or the pad is a fault, and the retailer will deal with it. If the box has clearly been opened before it reached you, say that when you open the case, because it changes how they handle it.

Damaged in transit

Photograph the outer packaging before you unpack any further. Retailers ask for it almost every time, and it is impossible to go back for once the box is in the bin.

Still ours to answer

If the problem is a rule, not a box

Nothing on this page helps with a pig that landed on the cup or a scoring argument at the table. That is what the questions page is for.
