Pass The Pigs® Big Pigs™
Winning Moves Games
The foam set in somebody’s hands, which is the only way to judge the size.
Every box, compared
Compare every box released over the years, laid out neatly in a side by side table.
The rules are the same in every box. What changes is the size of the pigs, how many pairs you get, and what they travel in, and one of those changes quietly removes a rule.
| Edition | What is different about it | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Pass the Pigs, Classic Edition | The one people mean when they say Pass the Pigs. Pig Sty cup, pad, pencil. | $16.99 |
| Pass the Pigs: Big Pigs | Foam pigs several times the size of the originals, for a floor rather than a table. | $21.59 |
| Pass the Pigs: Pig Party Edition | Four pairs of pigs so a big group rolls at once instead of waiting. | $23.90 |
| Pass the Pigs in the Silver Travel Case | A metal travel tin. The pigs cannot stack inside it, so one classic rule quietly drops out. | $19.49 |
| Pass the Pigs Classic with the Pig Sty Cup | The classic set sold with its Pig Sty cup called out on the front. | $17.90 |
| Pass the Pigs and Deluxe Pit, Two Game Set | Two games in one carton, the pigs and a deluxe pit to roll them into. | $40.90 |
Which one to get
For a first set, the classic box is the one people mean when they say the name. Everything else answers a specific problem: a crowd waiting too long between turns, a floor instead of a table, a suitcase instead of a shelf.
Foam pigs land differently from rubber ones, so scores from a giant set are not really comparable with a classic set. That matters not at all unless somebody is keeping records.
One quiet difference worth knowing: pigs cannot stack inside a travel tin, so the rule that puts a player out of the game never comes up with that set.
Straight from the publisher
Winning Moves Games films short demos of the sets it publishes, which is the easiest way to judge the size of a giant foam pig or how much table a party set wants. These are their videos on YouTube, not ours, and nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.
